Reydel's piece titled "Awareness" (2020/53.5x46cm) was recently collected by an art collector living in Florida. He shared with us how the central meditating person unaffected by the on-going chaos actually makes it a very tranquil piece for him. Nothing makes the artist happier to hear that it will be hung where the owner can see it prior to leaving and upon his returning home. Reydel expresses the physical existence is no longer so concrete at the high state of spirituality. Rather, our consciousness becomes more important and is represented by a growing flower as energy. It is so touching that the thoughts of the artist and the art collector synchronize through an artwork.
